01The school
One school. Every part of the work.
Ballery is an online school for event decorators. It covers balloon installations, florals, backdrops and full event builds, alongside the commercial side — pricing, quoting, clients and marketing. It is taught by Valeria, who has run her own decor studio for ten years, and it grows every week with new lessons.
“I wanted a school that teaches the whole job — the install and the invoice.”

Business
Being a great decorator is only half the job. The other half is running a business that actually works — pricing your services correctly, writing quotes that convert, knowing your numbers, and building systems that save you time. This course covers the essential business side of event decor: from calculating your costs and setting profitable rates to working with suppliers and managing client relationships.

Marketing
You can be the most talented decorator in your city — but if the right people don't know you exist, it doesn't matter. This course is about changing that. You'll learn how to position yourself in a competitive market, build a strong visual presence on Instagram, shoot your own work in a way that actually sells, write content that attracts premium clients, and turn your audience into a steady stream of bookings.

Team and Delegate
There's a ceiling to how much you can earn and how many events you can take on when you're working alone. Growing your decoration business means learning how to delegate — and doing it well. This course covers everything you need to know about building and managing a team: when to hire your first assistant, how to train them, and how to create clear checklists and systems your team can follow.

Legal
Every decoration business needs a legal foundation — and most decorators only think about it when it's too late. This course covers the essential legal side of running a decor business: how to write a proper service contract, what your deposit and cancellation policy should include, how to handle clients who refuse to pay, what to agree on with venues before setup day, and how to protect your designs.

Wedding Decor Business
Weddings are in a league of their own. The budgets are bigger, the expectations are higher, and the process — from first inquiry to wedding day — is completely different from any other event. This course is dedicated entirely to the business side of wedding decor: how the wedding market works, how to consult with couples and understand their vision, and how to price a full wedding setup correctly.

03Commercial before decorative
Pretty is table stakes. An install has to be priced, sold and delivered.
Half of Ballery is the commercial curriculum. It is the difference between a full calendar and an expensive hobby.

08Reviews
Members, in their words.
“I had been freelancing for two years and still felt like I was guessing. Ballery gave me a process — and the confidence to charge for it.”
“It feels less like an online course and more like working inside someone else's studio for a week.”
“Booked my first $4,000 install three weeks after starting. I keep going back to the colour modules.”
09Questions
Answered plainly.
How do I start a balloon business?
Start with one sellable offer — usually an organic balloon garland — and learn to build it the same way every time. Then price it properly, photograph it well, and put it in front of local venues and planners. Ballery walks you through that exact sequence: technique first, then costing, quoting and your first outreach, so you can take paid work before you finish the library.
How much do balloon decorators make?
In most US markets a single garland or arch install is quoted between $350 and $2,000, depending on length, height, colour count, install complexity and travel. Large backdrops, flower walls and full event builds go higher. What you actually keep depends on how you cost materials, studio hours and on-site hours — which is exactly what the business modules cover.
Do I need experience to join?
No. Most members join with zero paid jobs behind them. You start with base mechanics — inflation sizing, cluster ratios, anchoring — filmed close-up so you can copy the hand movements. Nothing assumes prior training.
How does the $7 trial work?
You get 7 days of full access to everything — every module, the business track and the community — for $7. After the 7 days it becomes $79/month, and you can cancel anytime before or after that from your account. No long-term contract.
What does Lifetime include?
Lifetime is a one-time payment of $495 instead of a monthly subscription. It unlocks the entire library permanently, plus every module and weekly lesson added in the future, and the full business material — pricing, quoting, contracts and client systems. There is no renewal and no expiry.
What if I already run a decor business?
Then the business track is usually the bigger win: repricing your packages, tightening quotes and contracts, and building referral flow with venues and planners. On the craft side, members with existing studios tend to use Ballery for large installations, flower walls and trend work they haven't sold yet.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Memberships are month-to-month or annual and you can cancel from your account at any time, including during the $7 trial week. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Lifetime has nothing to cancel — it's a one-time purchase.
How often are new lessons added?
New lessons are added every week, plus monthly trend drops so what you're selling matches what clients are asking for. Higher tiers also include live Zoom sessions with Valeria, where you can bring your own builds and quotes for feedback.
What equipment do I need to get started?
A quality hand or electric inflator, sizers, balloon strip tape, glue dots, a basic frame kit, and a helium source only if you plan to sell bouquets. Ballery includes a full starter equipment list with brands and price ranges, plus what to skip until you're booking regularly.
How is Ballery different from a one-off online course?
A course ends. Ballery keeps going: weekly lessons, a growing library, live Q&A with Valeria and a community of working decorators. The business material updates as the market does, so you're not applying pricing advice from three years ago.
