An online school for event decorators — balloon installations, florals, backdrops, and the commercial discipline behind them. New lessons every week, taught by Valeria.

  • New lessons every week — craft and business
  • Q&A with the founder inside the school
  • Trained on real installations — Louvre, Cannes
  • First week: full access for $7

01The school

One school. Every part of the work.

Ballery is an online school for event decorators. It covers balloon installations, florals, backdrops and full event builds, alongside the commercial side — pricing, quoting, clients and marketing. It is taught by Valeria, who has run her own decor studio for ten years, and it grows every week with new lessons.

“I wanted a school that teaches the whole job — the install and the invoice.”
— Valeria, founder

02What you'll master

Twelve courses. New lessons every week.

This is the full catalog published on the platform today — the craft courses filmed the way a studio actually works, and the commercial curriculum behind them. Open any course to see the description and every video module inside it.

The craft

The business

03Commercial before decorative

Pretty is table stakes. An install has to be priced, sold and delivered.

Half of Ballery is the commercial curriculum. It is the difference between a full calendar and an expensive hobby.

$350–$2,000 per event install

  1. I.

    Business

Pricing, quotes, costs, profitable rates and suppliers. A balloon arch or flower wall is a $350–$2,000 job — costed and quoted with a number you can defend.

  2. II.

    Marketing

Positioning, your Instagram presence, shooting your own work, and the content that actually attracts premium clients.

  3. III.

    Team and Delegate

Hiring your first assistant, training them, and the checklists and systems that let an install run without you holding every piece.

  4. IV.

    Legal

Service contracts, deposit and cancellation policy, handling non-paying clients, and venue agreements.

  5. V.

    Wedding Decor Business

The wedding market specifically: consulting couples, scoping the day, and pricing full wedding setups.

I had been freelancing for two years and still felt like I was guessing. Ballery gave me a process — and the confidence to charge for it.

Booked my first $4,000 install three weeks after starting. I keep going back to the colour modules.

09Questions

Answered plainly.

How do I start a balloon business?

Start with one sellable offer — usually an organic balloon garland — and learn to build it the same way every time. Then price it properly, photograph it well, and put it in front of local venues and planners. Ballery walks you through that exact sequence: technique first, then costing, quoting and your first outreach, so you can take paid work before you finish the library.

How much do balloon decorators make?

In most US markets a single garland or arch install is quoted between $350 and $2,000, depending on length, height, colour count, install complexity and travel. Large backdrops, flower walls and full event builds go higher. What you actually keep depends on how you cost materials, studio hours and on-site hours — which is exactly what the business modules cover.

Do I need experience to join?

No. Most members join with zero paid jobs behind them. You start with base mechanics — inflation sizing, cluster ratios, anchoring — filmed close-up so you can copy the hand movements. Nothing assumes prior training.

How does the $7 trial work?

You get 7 days of full access to everything — every module, the business track and the community — for $7. After the 7 days it becomes $79/month, and you can cancel anytime before or after that from your account. No long-term contract.

What does Lifetime include?

Lifetime is a one-time payment of $495 instead of a monthly subscription. It unlocks the entire library permanently, plus every module and weekly lesson added in the future, and the full business material — pricing, quoting, contracts and client systems. There is no renewal and no expiry.

What if I already run a decor business?

Then the business track is usually the bigger win: repricing your packages, tightening quotes and contracts, and building referral flow with venues and planners. On the craft side, members with existing studios tend to use Ballery for large installations, flower walls and trend work they haven't sold yet.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Memberships are month-to-month or annual and you can cancel from your account at any time, including during the $7 trial week. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Lifetime has nothing to cancel — it's a one-time purchase.

How often are new lessons added?

New lessons are added every week, plus monthly trend drops so what you're selling matches what clients are asking for. Higher tiers also include live Zoom sessions with Valeria, where you can bring your own builds and quotes for feedback.

What equipment do I need to get started?

A quality hand or electric inflator, sizers, balloon strip tape, glue dots, a basic frame kit, and a helium source only if you plan to sell bouquets. Ballery includes a full starter equipment list with brands and price ranges, plus what to skip until you're booking regularly.

How is Ballery different from a one-off online course?

A course ends. Ballery keeps going: weekly lessons, a growing library, live Q&A with Valeria and a community of working decorators. The business material updates as the market does, so you're not applying pricing advice from three years ago.
